Recognize Your Mistakes
😩 Mistakes are not juicy at all…ðŸ˜
“I feel so bad”, he said with a crying voice.
🚨Making mistakes is part of the learning process as a marketer or business owner. To recognize our mistakes is the first important step.
🚨Someone described madness as “continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different result.”
🚨For example, I run an advert week after week on a media platform, and it never produces a response or reaction. And I do nothing about it, while at the same time hoping to get results.
🚨We can come to a point where we become aware of the mistakes we make as marketers and business owners.Â
🚨Very possible by recognizing the following set of indicators in our lives and businesses.
😩 Trying to do too much and making mistakes.
😩 Jumping from one failed idea to another without stopping to think.
😩 Trying to do too much too quickly and making mistakes.
😩 Over complicated marketing activities and messages.
😩 Not really being able to explain why someone should buy from us.
😩 Out-dated or weak brand identity.
😩 Relying on only one or two methods of generating business.
😩 No plan – haphazard activities.
🚨This is just a tip of the iceberg. The list is long.Â
🚨If we have mentally ticked ‘yes’ to any of the above, then we’re being honest with ourselves.Â
🚨By being aware of what doesn’t work, one can start to move forward. It’s not about how we make mistakes, but how we correct them that define us.
💡Daymond John said, “learn from as many mistakes and what not to do while your business is small. Don’t be in such a hurry to grow your brand. Make sure you and the market can sustain any bumps that may occur down the road.”
