🌽 I watched him on TV while growing up, and dreamed of meeting him face-to-face one day; just for a word of advice as a mentor. 

 

🌽 There he was standing in front of me, and I was sweating profusely in excitement and fear.😂😂

 

🌽It was a matter of life and death (kind of a do or die moment). I needed one thing to make my dream come true: courage.

 

🌽 Courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to carry out an action or make a decision in the face of uncertainties. 

 

🌽As a business, or an enterprise, you will constantly face situations where courage needs to sprout.

 

🌽 One of these situations is about asking your customers for referrals. 

 

🌽A referral is when you ask an existing customer for the name of someone whom they know, and who may be interested in your product or service.

 

🌽 The main idea of a #referral is to contact the person being referred and telling them that your customer recommended that you call them.

 

🌽 By mentioning your friend’s name or a customer’s name, you have your foot in the door. It’s the same as having someone on the inside. 

 

🌽A referral is a great way to generate business.

 

Therefore…

 

🐝  Let your business or company establish a system where your customers can provide you with referrals. 

 

🐝 Offer some form of rewards for customers who offer referrals. 

 

🐝 Be confident and courageous enough to ask customers for referrals. You may be surprised at how willing people are to help you promote your business.

 

🐝 As a normal business practice, it is a good idea to talk to customers after all work is completed, thereby finding out if they are at the most satisfied and fulfilled with your product or service. Then, go ahead and ask for referrals.
